Sorry I haven't written much in the past few weeks...I've been busy working on my next move.
Literally. As in, I'm moving.
Moving 2,400 miles. Well, in a bit of a roundabout route...
I'm in the middle of this trip right now as this post is going up:
Two Thousand and Four Hundred Miles in my car, doing a lot of singing along with the radio, from Massachusetts to Orlando to Tallahassee and then finally to...
I am moving to Texas! There will be an official announcement next week about what exactly I'm doing, but I'll just say for now that I will be working with some really smart and talented people and I am so, so, soooo very excited about this move.
Added bonus: I was proud to support both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz from Day One in their Senate campaigns, and it's fantastic that I will still be represented in the U.S. Senate by a conservative Cuban attorney.
The blog is still Sunshine State Sarah, because I am and always will be proud to be from the Sunshine State (plus, the language nerd in me loves the alliteration). I'll still be keeping an eye on the political shenanigans happening here in Florida, and I look forward to bringing a little Sunshine to the Lone Star State.
Thanks, y'all, for following me around the country and especially to all of you who have offered encouragement and advice. I can't wait to see what 2013 has in store.
